Job Description

As a Security Professional - Armed Desk Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more .

As a Front Desk Security Officer at a financial institution, you will be responsible for monitoring entry points, greeting visitors, and assisting with access control to help to deter security-related incidents. This is an armed post, requiring you to maintain a professional presence while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. You will represent our values of agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and working collaboratively with your team while upholding the highest standards of integrity.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the front desk.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials as required.
  • Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, including communicating with relevant personnel and authorities.
  • Maintain detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and visitor logs as required by site procedures.
  • Support a welcoming and professional environment for all individuals entering the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid Texas Armed Security Professional License is required.
  • An Armed Sidearm qualification is required.
  • An Armed Designation is required.
  • A valid Texas Armed Guard Card or License is required.
  • Texas Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
