As a Security Professional - Access Control - Full Time in Fayetteville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As an Access Control Officer in a retail or mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, assisting with access control and badge procedures, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity in all interactions.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail or mall environment and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or potential hazards within the location.
• Communicate with management and law enforcement as needed regarding incidents or concerns.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and access control logs.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required for positions that involve driving in the state where the job is located.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• NC Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
