As a Security Officer in San Jose, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation Site and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and communicating clearly with the public and team members. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for any unusual circumstances.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by site protocols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with team members, site personnel, and visitors to support a secure environment.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Completion of TSA Terrorism Awareness Training is required and may be completed post hire.
• A valid driver's license in the state where the job is located is required.
• A valid driver's license that meets Allied Universal driver policy requirements is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• California Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
