Job Description

As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more .

As an Armed Patrol Officer in a financial institution setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. This armed post requires you to conduct routine patrols, interact professionally with staff and visitors, and respond promptly to incidents. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding our values of agility, reliability, and integrity. Teamwork and a people-first approach are central to your role as you contribute to a secure environment for all individuals at the location.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the financial institution and its perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Help to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining a visible presence and monitoring for unusual behavior.
  • Document and report any incidents, observations, or concerns according to site protocols.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as needed to address security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must possess a valid California Armed Security Professional License.
  • Must have an Armed Guard Card or License.
  • Must have an Armed Designation as required by the role.
  • Must have completed Firearms Annual Inspection.
  • Must acknowledge Firearms Acknowledgement documentation.
  • Must complete Firearms Annual Requalification Training, which can be completed post hire.
  • Must have at least 1 year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, or military roles.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Must participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
