Job Description

As a Security Professional - Healthcare Patrol in Riverview, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your presence and routine patrols contribute to a welcoming atmosphere, while your strong communication and customer service skills support those in need. You will embody our values of agility, reliability, and innovation, working collaboratively with your team and always acting with integrity to put people first.

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or conditions within the location, following established protocols.
  • Assist with access control and monitor entry points to help to deter unauthorized access.
  • Support staff, patients, and visitors by providing information and assistance as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Florida Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
  • A valid guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
