Job Description

As a Security Officer -  Cleared Armed Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As an armed patrol officer in the aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. This role requires carrying a firearm and may involve driving responsibilities. You will interact with personnel and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $24.60 / Hour - Secret 

                 $29.00 / Hour - Top Secret 

                 $38.38 / Hour - Yankee White

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a secure environment.
  • Monitor for unusual activity or potential threats within the aerospace and defense location, reporting observations as required.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as needed to address incidents or emergencies.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • An active Department of Defense Clearance is required.
  • A Armed guard card or license is required. 
  • Be at least 21 years of age. 
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
