Job Description

As a Cleared Security Guard - Texas Armed License Required in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As an armed patrol officer in an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and communicating clearly with staff and visitors. This is an armed post, requiring you to carry out your duties with professionalism and integrity, while upholding our values of agility, reliability, and teamwork. You may also be required to drive as part of your patrol duties, supporting a secure and welcoming environment for all.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $24.60 / Hour - Secret 

                 $29.00 / Hour - Top Secret 

                 $38.38 / Hour - Yankee White 

Job Schedule:

DayTime
Mon02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Sun10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to personnel and visitors.
  • Document and report any incidents, observations, or irregularities according to site protocols.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as needed during incidents or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license that meets AU Driver Policy requirements.
  • Must have Level III Armed Certification for Texas roles only.
  • Must have an active Department of Defense Clearance.
  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Must participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
