Job Description

As a Armed Security Officer - DoD Cleared Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As a Patrol Armed Officer in the aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is an armed post, and you may be required to drive as part of your duties. You will interact with personnel and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $24.60 / Hour - Secret 

                 $29.00 / Hour - Top Secret 

                 $38.38 / Hour - Yankee White 

Job Schedule:

DayTime
Wed02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Thur02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Monitor access points and observe activities within the location to help to deter potential threats and report any suspicious behavior.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as needed to address incidents and maintain a secure environment.
  • Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Level III Armed Certification is required for positions in Texas.
  • An active Department of Defense Clearance is required.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A Armed guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age. 
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
