As a Security Officer – Armed Government in Reno, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As an Armed Patrol Officer in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. You will conduct routine patrols and interact with the public, delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. This armed post requires you to respond promptly to incidents and support a secure environment, reflecting our values of agility, reliability, and teamwork while always acting with integrity.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

PLUS ADDITIONAL ARMED BONUS $3000!!

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unwanted activity and observing for any unusual circumstances.
• Interact with the public and staff in a professional manner, addressing questions or concerns as needed.
• Document and report any incidents, observations, or activities according to site protocols.
• Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points as required by site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have an armed designation as required by the position.
• Must have at least 1 year of experience in an armed security-related, law enforcement, or military role.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, or baton is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
