As a Security Guard - Education Site Patrol in Muskegon, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, Chemical/Petrochemical and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within educational and chemical or petrochemical locations. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while you provide exceptional customer service and clear communication. You will remain visible throughout your shift, assisting staff, students, and visitors as needed. Pay Rate: $16.73 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, which may include educational facilities and chemical or petrochemical environments.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or potential hazards within the location.
• Assist with access control and help to deter unauthorized entry to restricted areas.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency personnel as needed.
• Document incidents and daily activities according to site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
