Job Description

As a Security Professional - Access Control - Afternoon Shift in Shelby, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more .

As an Access Control Officer in a food and beverage production environment, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and unauthorized access. Your presence and routine patrols contribute to a secure atmosphere for staff and visitors. You will interact with individuals on site, providing excellent customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate: $13.22 / Hour

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and address any security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas within the food and beverage production location.
  • Document and report any unusual activities or incidents according to established protocols.
  • Collaborate with site personnel to maintain a secure environment and support operational needs.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
