Job Description

As a Security Professional - Retail Patrol - Part Time in Fayetteville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer in a retail or mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence. You will interact with the public, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly with both visitors and team members. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as required by the site.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or potential concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with access control and help to deter unauthorized entry or suspicious behavior within the retail environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with AU Driver Policy requirements.
  • NC Security Professional Registration is preferred for Allied Universal Security roles.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
