Job Description

As a Cleared Security Officer - Armed Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As an armed patrol officer in the aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. This role involves conducting routine patrols, responding to situations as they arise, and providing excellent customer service and communication. As this is an armed post, you will be responsible for carrying and maintaining your assigned equipment. Pay Rate: $24.60 / Hour - Secret 

                 $29.00 / Hour - Top Secret 

                 $38.38 / Hour - Yankee White

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity in an aerospace and defense environment.
  • Monitor for and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents within the location.
  • Assist with access control and verify identification of individuals entering restricted areas.
  • Support emergency response activities according to established protocols for the site.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required and must meet AU Driver Policy requirements.
  • Level III Armed Certification is required for positions in Texas.
  • An active DoD Clearance is required for this position.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
