As a Security Professional- Armed Patrol - Morning Shift in Lexington, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As an Armed Patrol Officer at this retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence for guests and staff. This armed post requires you to conduct routine patrols, respond to incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity in every interaction.

Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft and other security-related incidents within the retail environment.
• Document and report any suspicious activity, security-related incidents, or policy violations encountered during patrols.
• Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points as required by site-specific policies.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Must possess a valid Kentucky Armed Security Professional License.
• Must possess a valid Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• Must have at least 1 year of experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military service.
• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Must participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
