As a Security Professional - Armed Utilities in Tampa, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities and more .

As an Armed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents. This role requires carrying a firearm and may involve driving responsibilities. You will interact with staff and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for and report any suspicious behavior or security-related incidents within the location.
• Assist with access control and verify identification of individuals entering restricted areas.
• Document observations and incidents according to established protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency responders when required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must possess a valid Florida Armed Security Professional License.
• Must have an Armed Designation as required by Florida state regulations.
• Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• A valid driver’s license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Florida Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
