Job Description

As a Security Professional - Healthcare Patrol in Secaucus, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

As a Front Desk Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and staff, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Your responsibilities include monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and providing exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment by addressing inquiries and assisting with access control, all while upholding our values of agility, reliability, and integrity through teamwork and a people-first approach.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist visitors, patients, and staff at the front desk, providing a welcoming and professional presence.
  • Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials as required by site-specific policies.
  • Respond to security-related incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Communicate and coordinate with healthcare staff and emergency responders as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of visitor logs, incident reports, and other relevant documentation.
  • Follow all site-specific procedures and protocols to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain order at the front desk area.

Minimum Requirements:

  • New Jersey Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
