Job Description

As a Security Professional - Government Patrol in Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer in a government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, assisting visitors, and delivering excellent customer service through clear communication. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity. This position may require riding a bike as part of your patrol duties.

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the government location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for any security-related incidents.
  • Document and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or security-related incidents encountered during patrols.
  • Assist with access control and monitor entry points as required by site-specific policies.
  • Communicate clearly with team members and site management regarding incidents or concerns observed during patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have at least 1 year of security experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to ride a bike as part of job duties.
  • County Unarmed Security Professional License in Denver, CO is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
