As a Security Professional - Access Control in SALINAS, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more .

As an Access Control Officer in a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment for staff and visitors. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, remaining visible throughout the facility, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity. Your presence and professionalism contribute to a positive and secure atmosphere within the location.

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following access control procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas within the food and beverage facility.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to observe for unusual activity or potential security-related incidents.
• Assist with emergency response activities as needed, including coordinating with local authorities or internal teams.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions and provide assistance to employees and visitors as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• California Guard Card is preferred.
• 6 months of Security experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
