Job Description

As a Security Professional - Armed Driver in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As a Patrol Armed Officer in the Aero/Defense sector, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. This role requires a valid driver's license and Level III Armed Certification, as it involves both driving and armed duties. You will engage with individuals on-site, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate: $24.60 / Hour

Mon02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Fri06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
Sun06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service by implementing security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when necessary.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access and activities by maintaining a visible presence.
  • Assist in monitoring and controlling access to the location, ensuring compliance with established protocols.
  • Collaborate with team members and other personnel to address security-related incidents in a collaborative manner.
  • Document and report any unusual activities or incidents to the appropriate authorities.
  • Participate in training sessions to stay updated on procedures and protocols relevant to the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required for positions in the job state.
  • Level III Armed Certification is required for positions in Texas.
  • An active DoD Top Secret Clearance is required.
  • Texas Security Professional Guard Card is required for positions in Austin.
  • A Guard Card/License is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
