As a Armed Security Officer - Patrol  in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As an Armed Officer in a retail environment, you will be responsible for monitoring designated areas to help deter security-related incidents. Your presence will be crucial in maintaining a secure atmosphere for customers and staff. This role requires you to be armed, and you must possess a Level III Armed Certification specific to Texas. Additionally, a valid driver's license is necessary to meet AU Driver Policy Requirements. You will be expected to provide exceptional customer service and communication, embodying our values of agility, reliability, and innovation while working collaboratively with your team.

Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by implementing security procedures and site-specific policies, and engage in emergency response activities when necessary.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must have an Armed Designation, which is a strict requirement.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles, which is a strict requirement.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with AU Driver Policy Requirements, which is a strict requirement.
• Level III Armed Certification is required for positions in Texas only, which is a strict requirement.
• Texas Security Professional Guard Card is required for positions in Texas, which is a strict requirement.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
