Job Description

As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more .

As a Patrol Armed Officer, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas within financial institutions, helping to deter security-related incidents. Your presence will be crucial in maintaining a secure environment, while also providing exceptional customer service and communication. This role requires carrying an armed sidearm, and a TX-SP Registration-AUS is necessary. CPR certification is preferred. Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service by implementing security procedures and site-specific policies, and engage in emergency response activities when necessary.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.
  • Assist in maintaining a secure environment by monitoring and reporting any unusual activities or security-related incidents.
  • Collaborate with team members and other personnel to address potential security concerns and enhance overall protection.
  • Engage with clients and visitors in a professional manner, providing assistance and information as needed.
  • Participate in training sessions and briefings to stay informed about the latest security protocols and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Texas Security Professional Guard Card required.
  • Must have an armed designation for the role.
  • CPR Certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
