Position Overview:

We are hiring a Full-time Security Officer for Empire Mall at 5000 W Empire Mall in Sioux Falls, SD. You will provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. You will respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. The role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a strong commitment to safety and security.

Job Details:

• Pay Rate: $16.50 / hour
• Schedule: Evening Shift Available / 4:00 pm - 12:00 am

• Duties: Foot / Mobile Patrol and Access Control.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Prior Security experience preferred, but not required, or a customer service background
• Skills: Comfortable using technology devices, must have a valid driver's license. 
• Physical Requirements: Must be able to walk, stand for long periods, and work in all weather elements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
