As a Security Officer - Armed Security in Ashland, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As an Armed Officer, you will be responsible for monitoring designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine checks and providing exceptional customer service and communication. This position requires an armed designation, and a preference is given to those with an Armed Guard Card/License. Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by implementing security procedures and site-specific policies, and engage in emergency response activities when necessary.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must have an Armed Designation, which is a strict requirement.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Applicants must possess a Kentucky Armed Security Professional License, which is a strict requirement.
• An Armed Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
