As a Security Officer - Tech Access in Santa Clara, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

Join our team as an Access Control Officer in the dynamic Tech/Media/Telecom sector. You will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Your role will involve conducting routine checks and maintaining a visible presence to support a secure environment. We value agility, reliability, and innovation, and our culture prioritizes people, teamwork, and integrity. This position does not require driving or carrying arms, but a Guard Card/License is preferred. CPR and First Aid certifications are also advantageous for this role.

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by implementing access control procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random checks around the business and perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.
• Assist in emergency response activities as needed.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a secure environment for clients and employees.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must have at least 1 year of security experience.
• California Security Professional Guard Card required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Guard Card or License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
