As a Security Professional - Armed Medical in Elkton, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas within a healthcare setting, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment. Your presence will be crucial in providing exceptional customer service and communication to all visitors and staff. This position requires at least one year of experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military service, and you must be over 21 years of age. Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by implementing security procedures and site-specific policies, and engage in emergency response activities when necessary.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random checks around the business and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must have at least 1 year of experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military roles.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Maryland Security Professional Guard Card required.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
