As a Security Officer - Commercial Property in Santa Clara, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer in the commercial real estate location, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas to help deter security-related incidents. Your presence will contribute to a secure environment while providing exceptional customer service and communication. This role requires agility and reliability, aligning with our values of teamwork and integrity. You will engage with the community, offering assistance and maintaining a visible presence to support a secure atmosphere. This position does not involve driving or carrying arms, focusing instead on proactive engagement and observation.

Pay Rate: $24.45 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by implementing security procedures and site-specific policies, and engage in emergency response activities when necessary.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions at different locations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security experience.
• CA Security Professional Guard Card required.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
