As a Security Officer - Logistics Patrol in NEWARK, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more .

In the logistics and distribution location, our Patrol Unarmed Officers play a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment. They conduct routine patrols and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Officers are expected to provide exceptional customer service and communication, contributing to a positive experience for all individuals on site. Our team values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and working collaboratively with integrity. This position does not require driving or carrying arms, focusing instead on presence and interaction to maintain order and address any potential issues that may arise.

Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by implementing security procedures and site-specific policies, and engage in emergency response activities when necessary.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and activities by maintaining a visible presence.
• Assist in monitoring and controlling access to the premises, ensuring compliance with entry protocols.
• Document and report any security-related incidents or unusual activities observed during patrols.
• Collaborate with team members and management to address security concerns and improve procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must have at least 1 year of security experience.
• CA Security Professional Guard Card required.
• Applicants should be comfortable using a computer or tablet, though this is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
