Job Description

As a Security Officer - Armed Tech Patrol in Fremont, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a Patrol Armed Officer in the Tech/Media/Telecom location, you will conduct routine patrols and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Your role involves carrying a sidearm, baton, and pepper spray, requiring a California Weapons Permit with a 9mm caliber endorsement. With a focus on exceptional customer service and communication, you will contribute to a secure environment while embodying our values of agility, reliability, and innovation. Your experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military will be crucial in delivering through teamwork and acting with integrity.

Pay Rate: $28.70 / Hour

Sat02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Sun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access and activities by maintaining a visible presence and monitoring the location.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate to address any security-related incidents or concerns.
  • Document and report any irregularities, incidents, or suspicious activities observed during patrols.
  • Assist in maintaining a secure environment by following established protocols and guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Applicants must have a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
  • Candidates must have a California Weapons Permit with a 9mm Caliber Endorsement.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
