Job Description

As a Security Professional -Access Control in Uvalde, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto and more .

As an Access Control Officer in the automotive industry, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas to help maintain a secure environment. Your role involves conducting routine patrols and remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will also provide exceptional customer service and communication, embodying our values of agility, reliability, and innovation. Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service by implementing access control procedures and adhering to site-specific policies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the automotive facility and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.
  • Assist in managing access to the premises, helping to deter unauthorized entry and maintain order.
  • Engage in emergency response activities when necessary, following established protocols.
  • Collaborate with team members to address security-related incidents and support a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with AU Driver Policy Requirements.
  • Texas Security Professional Guard Card required.
  • Possess a valid Guard Card/License; this is a preferred qualification.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
