Job Description

As a Security Guard - Telecom Patrol in Santa Clara, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

Our Patrol Officers play a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment within the tech, media, and telecom sectors. As an unarmed officer, you will conduct routine patrols and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your presence and exceptional customer service skills will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere. This position requires a valid driver's license for in-state operations. Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service by implementing security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when necessary.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and problem-solving approach.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.
  • Assist in maintaining a secure environment by being observant and reporting any unusual activities or security-related incidents.
  • Collaborate with team members and other personnel to address security-related concerns and enhance the overall security posture of the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required for positions in the job state.
  • California Security Professional Guard Card required.
  • CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Guard Card/License is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
