As a Security Officer - Logistics Patrol in Elkridge, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more .

In the logistics and distribution location, our Patrol Unarmed Officers play a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment. They conduct routine patrols, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. Our officers are committed to fostering a caring culture, putting people first, and acting with integrity. They work collaboratively as part of a team, embodying agility, reliability, and innovation in their daily responsibilities. This position requires individuals to be 21 years or older and registered with MD-SP, ensuring they are well-prepared to handle the demands of the role.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, engage in emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Maryland Security Professional Guard Card required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
