As a Security Officer - Logistics Patrol in Tampa, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more .

As an Access Control Officer in the logistics and distribution location, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment by monitoring and patrolling designated areas. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you engage with individuals in a professional and courteous manner. This position may require a TSA Issued TWIC, and having a Guard Card or License is preferred. Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by implementing access control procedures and adhering to site-specific policies.
• Assist in managing access to the premises, ensuring only authorized personnel are granted entry.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining composure under pressure.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify potential security-related incidents.
• Collaborate with team members to address any access control issues and improve overall security measures.
• Document and report any irregularities or incidents encountered during patrols or while monitoring access points.
• Participate in emergency response activities as required, following established protocols and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A TSA Issued TWIC is required.
• Florida Security Professional Guard Card is required.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
