As a Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol in San Jose, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries.

As a Patrol Officer, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling various areas, including platforms and movers, to help deter security-related incidents. Your presence will be a key factor in maintaining a secure environment, while your exceptional customer service and communication skills will enhance the experience for those you interact with. This role requires agility and reliability, aligning with our values of teamwork and integrity. While this is an unarmed position, your ability to use technology such as computers or tablets is preferred, as is experience with access control and badge systems.

Pay Rate: $23.66 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must have at least 6 months of security experience.
• CA-SP Registration-AUS translates to a California Security Professional Guard Card requirement.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred but not mandatory.
• Applicants should be comfortable using a computer or tablet, though this is preferred and not required.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred but not mandatory.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
