As a Security Officer - Tech Patrol in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

Join our team as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in the dynamic Tech/Media/Telecom sector, where you will actively monitor and patrol designated areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Your role involves engaging with individuals, showcasing exceptional customer service and communication skills, while managing access control and alarm panel systems. This position does not require driving or carrying arms, focusing instead on proactive engagement and support.

Pay Rate: $17.20 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by implementing security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when necessary.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions at different locations.
• Assist in maintaining a secure environment by being observant and reporting any unusual activities or security-related incidents.
• Collaborate with team members and other personnel to address security-related concerns and enhance the overall security posture of the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Candidates must have at least 2 years of security experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
