We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Officer for a part-time position at Merchandise Mart Plaza, Chicago.
This role requires the ability to conduct thorough foot patrols, and ensure the safety and security of the premises. The primary duty of this position is foot patrol, requiring vigilance and strong situational awareness. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a proactive approach to security, and the ability to handle various responsibilities efficiently.
Starting Pay: $19.40 / hour
Employment Type: Part-Time
Shifts Available: Afternoon, Morning
Workdays Available: Monday–Friday, Saturday–Sunday
Required:
Minimum of 2 years of security experience.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Must have an active IL PERC card.
Must have excellent customer service skills
Perform regular foot patrols to ensure security and safety of the premises.
Oversee daily security operations and ensure compliance with company policies.
Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and client inquiries.
Maintain accurate records of activities, incidents, and personnel performance.
Ensure all equipment and systems, including computers and tablets, are used effectively.
Deliver exceptional customer service to clients, visitors, and employees.
As a Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government and more.
