Job Description

Hourly Pay Rate: $18.00

PT, dayshifts

 

Allied Universal is seeking a technologically capable administrator to support the branch office with technology compliance and system administration.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Respond to both critical and routine application support requests, utilizing the applications support team
  • · Collaborate with software vendors and consultants on application development, deployment, and support
  • · Communicate and negotiate with stakeholders and external parties on application support related matters
  • · Provide technical support and troubleshoot problems with hardware and software applications to resolve issues
  • · Evaluate issues, perform impact analysis, and recommend solutions and workarounds
  • · Support software development and maintenance, coordinate testing cycles and deployment activities
  • · Conduct research and make recommendations on application products, services, protocols, and standards
  • · Act as analytical or procedural expert and represent the team on cross-functional process or project deliverables

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
  • Valid Driver’s License with at least one year of driving experience and:
    • No major violations within last 36 months
    • No more than one at-fault accident in last 24 months
    • No more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months)
    • No combination of one at-fault accident and one minor moving violation in last 24 months
  • Minimum of three (3) years of professional protective service (e.g., security) experience
  • Ability to write effective and concise reports in legible handwriting
  • Able to use good independent judgment and discretion
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to successfully interact at all levels of the organization, including clients
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments and effectively manage deadlines

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

  • Experience in scheduling, operations management, or other leadership functions of security industry
  • Prior experience in the security industry, law enforcement, and/or military
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
