Floater Position A floater position is a role where someone fills in for another person who is away from their job, such as due to vacation, training, or leave of absence. Their responsibilities include temporarily covering a position and picking up shifts as needed. Floaters would be able to convert into a set schedule once it is available. Floaters would be able to attain variable hours in a week, not guaranteed, between 8-40 hours. Seeking candidates who ideally have open availability and flexibility to work any shift, whether it's day, swing, or overnight, and any day of the week, including weekends. If you are currently balancing a second job, school, or have caretaking responsibilities, we are open to discussing your availability. If you can commit to working at least two out of the three shift types, we can explore further how your schedule can fit with our needs.
Mandatory Overtime Enforced We have a mandatory overtime policy that is strictly enforced. You may be required to work additional hours beyond your assigned shift, which may include staying later or being called in several hours before your scheduled shift. Typically, overtime is for an additional 4 hours, but occasionally it may extend to 8 hours. The need for overtime is generally in response to situations such as last-minute officer call-offs, hospital emergency lockdowns, or other operational requirements.
As a Hospital Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard a high profile healthcare customer. The Hospital Security Officer is responsible for the surveillance of the client’s healthcare premises and the protection of the staff, members, and visitors. A Hospital Security Professional detects and prevents any suspicious activity, observe and reports incidents, and provides customer service in a friendly and professional manner.
