Allied Universal has security jobs and are seeking to fill the position of a Security Lobby Concierge Officer - Flex

 

The Security Lobby Concierge Officer - Flex is responsible for the safety and security of the facilities they protect. A Security Lobby Concierge Officer - Flex acts as a visible deterrent to crime and client rule infractions and detect and report suspicious, unsafe or criminal acts at or near their assigned posts, which may be a threat to the property, clients, guests or employees at the site.

  • Requirements: Security skills- 2+ years’ experience in the security or industrial/class A building access control. Must also have strong people and customer service skills, professional demeanor and have reliable transportation
  • Starting Base Pay $16 - $17 / hour 
  • Availability: On Call - no set schedule 
  • Employment Type: Part Time
  • Daily and Weekly pay - You pick when you get paid!

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Be at least 18 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent
  • MUST HAVE STRONG PEOPLE & CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS
  • MUST HAVE A PROFESSIONAL DEMEANOR MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION
  • MUST BE ABLE TO PASS CRIMINAL BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION
  • MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE
  • Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

  • Driving Positions: must possess a valid Driver’s License with at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record (no major violations within last 36 months, no more than 1 accident in last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months), a minimum level of insurance as required by Company policy, and the ability to safely operate a vehicle required.

  • As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
  • Required to work for multiple clients at multiple locations; covering special projects, call offs, vacations and open shifts
  • Must be available to work any time and day
  • Display exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites
  • Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently
  • Able to:
    • Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat
    • Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds
    • Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift
    • Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time
Security Lobby Concierge responsibilities:
  • Greet Staff and Visitors at the main entrance desk and make suggestions for any questions concerning the site location.
  • Routinely stay alert and monitor any suspicious activity
  • Screen all visitors to include vendors
  • On call for Emergencies for weekends and weekdays.
  • Foot Patrol Services- patrol the common area, parking lot and facility via foot
  • Package Management- accept, manage and controlling the receiving and issuing of packages
  • Access Control Monitoring-monitor access control equipment and software to ensure functionality
  • Daily Reports of Community Activity- maintain daily log of all activities
  • Visitor Management Software –train officers on using all software and technology
  • Monitor Cameras- monitor and review camera footage of property
  • Management Updates – provide daily updates to Property Management on issues and incidents
  • Facilitate Vendors Access – overseeing service vendors access and repairs
  • Building Oversight – complete routine safety inspections, corresponding with contractors, planning maintenance repairs
