Job Description

Allied Universal is Hiring a Security Officer to work at a Tech site in Santa Clara, Ca!


Pay Rate: $25 Hr


Shift: Day M-F 8am-5pm

As a Security Lobby Receptionist, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government and more.


  • Greet employees, visitors and guests in a professional and courteous manner, always providing friendly, professional and exceptional customer service.

  • Support multiple events simultaneously, preparing ahead of time for seamless customer experience

  • Anticipate needs and discern priorities when managing visitors, events, and requests from employees

  • Work closely with security team members and department EA’s, providing outstanding support for employees and visitors
  • Reply to and complete all incoming communications in-person,email, phone, or Slack messages
  • Support projects as assigned by supervisor and account manager

  • Enforce the company’s access policies and procedures in a cordial manner
  • Directly support security access control, visitor management, and other areas of the security department
  • Uphold a strict level of confidentiality, with an ability to convey a professional image and represent the Company and the Global Safety and Security organization.
  • First Aid/CPR/ERT trained to assist with safety emergenciesas needed (i.e. fire or medical event)

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • Ability to convey a professional image, effectively representing the organization in its relationship with the Client and employees 
  • High EQ and soft skills with an ability to comfortably interact with people of all backgrounds
  • In depth knowledge of Google Suite including Gmail, G-Calendar, Drive, Sheets, and Docs
  • Must be able to follow instructions, train others, and be a creative problem solver
  • Have professional oral and written communication skills
